Once a prospering civilization several hundred years ago, Kantock was mysteriously wiped out by what seems to have been a devasating plauge. Many new technologies have been found among the ruins and many archeologists and Magi constantly dig hoping to discover the next big thing. Only a few buildings are still intact particularly in the town square.
